October 30, 2015 – The director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Engineering and Learning (CPEDaL), Prof. Carlos Velázquez was interviewed for the Pharma Boardroom Company to learn how the Center is involved with the development of students and companies, and the Center’s history, main goals and facilities.
One of the questions was on how the Center for Structure Organic Particulate Systems (C-SOPS) program started and all that he needed to do to convince people to invest in the idea. Velazquez also mentioned at the interview how he sees an increase in the number of students interested in this area and how that could have a greater impact on the industry through these students. At the interview, Velazquez also mentioned some of the current projects with pharmaceutical companies, such as Janssen, BMS, Lilly and HP.
