24 high school students from all across the island were selected to be part of the fifth edition of the Pharmaceutical Engineering Summer Camp (PESCa 2015) to learn more about the concept of what is a Pharmaceutical Engineering and their role on the industry.
The summer camp has different opportunities in which the student can learn and apply new concept. One of them is the visit of an actual pharmaceutical manufacturing company, in this case they got the opportunity to visit Janssen at Gurabo, Puerto Rico. Other activities included the whole manufacture and characterization process that carries the production of a tablet. The summer camp also performed extracurricular activities throughout the week and the closing ceremony at Rincon of the Seas Hotel.
